
Join us following the Logging Modeler’s Convention on Saturday, April 17, 2010 for the 2nd Annual Sierra Historical & Modeling Seminar. We are planning a full day of activities oriented to researching and modeling the railroads of Tuolumne County (emphasis on the Sierra Railway), including:
Saturday evening, 17th (following the Logging Modeler’s Convention):
UPATED INFORMATION 1-24-10 Our speaker at our No host dinner will be Tom S Bullock III, the grandson of the Founder of the Sierra Railway and the West Side Lumber Co. The dinner is scheduled to be held at a restuarant in Twain Harte. To attend the dinner you must pay your registration fee of $10 and indicate on the Registration form that you will be attending the dinner. Seating is limited to 30 and reservations will be based on the date your registration form and payment is received by Glenn Sutherland. 6:00 PM is the tentative start time for the dinner. We will update the start time by e-mail and in person at the Logging Modelers Convention.

8:30 - Doors Open (Summerville High Cafeteria, 17555 Tuolumne Rd., Tuolumne, CA)
9:00 - Session begins – Presentations and discussions on various topics related to the Sierra Rwy and other local railroads during the first 30 years. We are seeking attendees who would be willing to lead a discussion (10 to 45 minutes) on a relevant topic. Please contact: Dave Connery – dgconnery@sbcglobal.net or (925) 735-0134.
We encourage all participants to bring Sierra Railway modeling projects, documents, artifacts, and photos to display during the morning sessions. Items may also be offered for sale or trade, but please limit what you bring to items directly related to Tuolumne County railroads.
